Holcim Azerbaijan OJSC – Railway Infrastructure Renovation Project
To ensure the seamless and safe continuation of Holcim Azerbaijan’s production and logistics processes, the renovation and restoration of the railway line from the Shahqaya raw material deposit to the Qaradag Cement Plant were successfully carried out by our company.
As part of the project, the technical condition of the railway infrastructure, which plays a crucial role in raw material transportation, was assessed. Restoration, reinforcement, and technical upgrades were performed on the areas that had been subjected to wear and tear. The renovation process was planned and executed in a way that ensured the continuity of production.
During the work, factors such as load-bearing capacity, safety standards, and long-term operational requirements were prioritized, and the railway line's durability to heavy industrial loads was ensured. The completion of this project has significantly contributed to strengthening Holcim Azerbaijan's sustainable and efficient logistics chain.
